Empowering the Next Generation:
Our Growing Partnership with Haileybury College
We were delighted to recently visit Haileybury College to meet with all the 6th Form students and speak to the student body about the vital work we do at Red Kite. Two 6th form students led talks on the Red Heart initiative, which sparked lots of conversations.
The discussion centred on the most pressing and difficult challenges facing young people today. We didn’t shy away from the hard truths, covering critical topics such as digital sexual exploitation, the alarming reality of pornography exposure for boys as young as seven, and the mechanics of grooming, both online and physically.
What was most inspiring, however, was seeing how these students are responding to these challenges. The 6th Formers have been running their own awareness-raising campaigns, which are not only extremely imaginative but vitally important for their peers.
This marks our second year of collaboration with Haileybury College, and we are thrilled to say that the relationship continues to grow and strengthen. We have already discussed exciting plans to expand our work together next year, ensuring we continue to educate and protect young people through this powerful partnership.
